Mtopwa FC chances of playing in the TNM Super League hang the balance as they wait for Nyasa Big Bullets Board of Trustees to make a decision on whether Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves should play in the top Flight league or not.

Speaking to the media, Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fleetwood Haiya said they are yet to have a meeting to discuss the future of the matter at hand. “We are to have a meeting with the board of trustee to map the way forward as to whether Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve will play in the Super League or not because the reason for us having a reserve side was to nurture talent for Nyasa Big bullets FC and once the decision is made we will come and let the nation know’’, Haiya said.

Mtopwa FC Chairperson Isaac Jomo Osman was quick to comment saying as Mtopwa FC they are getting prepared in case they are given a chance to play in the TNM Super League. “As Mtopwa FC we have assembled a good team and that we have a good coach in the name of Leo Mpulula and we have set a target of k45 Million Kwacha to run our affairs once in the TNM Super League’’.

Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves is will likely fail to earn a spot in TNM Super League as Club Licensing Rules do not allow 2 clubs to be run by the same entity in the same League at once. Mtopwa FC may have life in TNM Super League having finished 2nd in the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region Football League.
