NYIRENDA RESIGN AT MASTERS FC
Masters Security Football Clubs General Secretary Zacharia Nyirenda has resigned from the his position with immediate effect.
Nyirenda, who has been the Club’s General Secretary since its promotion into the TNM Super League in 2017, has resigned from the club as he is vying for the position of vice General Secretary at the Super League of Malawi ( SULOM).
Speaking in an interview, Nyirenda confirmed stepping down at the club
” Yes I have stepped down as the Club’s General Secretary and I am happy for the time I have been with the team in the past 2 years and that I contributed to the success of the club”, Nyirenda said.
However Nyirenda is optimistic that come the elections at SULOM he will become victorious.
” I am now vying for the position of vice General Secretary at SULOM and people have seen how we have contributed to the success of Masters FC. I will transform those efforts to SULOM to i effectively run the affairs hence helping in football development in the country “, Nyirenda said.
The Super League of Malawi will have an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 2nd March where among other things, new office bearers are to be elected including the position of vice General Secretary wanted by Zacharia Nyirenda.
