The Super League of Malawi ( SULOM) has has elected new office bearers at its Annual General meeting held on Saturday at Kabumba hotel in Salima.
The elections saw Tiya Somba Banda and Williams Banda going unopposed on the position of President and General secretary respectively while Gilbert Mitawa was trusted with the position of Vice president as he served well on the position of legal advisor in the previous term of office.
Former Masters Security FC officials Zacharia Nyirenda and Muhammad Selemani have been voted into office as Vice General Secretary and legal advisor respectively with Nyirenda defeating the outgoing General secretary Thoko Chazema any Aggrey Banda Khonje while Selemani came victorious over David Kanyenda and Chimwemwe Chithope.
Malinda Chinyama who has served the football circles as Bullets director has been voted as treasure defeating Enerst Mangani while Titha Mandiza went down as an executive member with the 4 elected being Henzie Banda, Chimwemwe Nyirenda, Michael Chimaele and Charles Manyungwa.
The new office bearers will get hold of their position for the next 4 years.
