Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve has gifted Mtopwa FC a chance to play in the TNM Super League in 2019.
At a meeting held by Nyasa Board, they have agreed to let Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves to still be attached to its mother club Nyasa Big Bullets.
Fleetwood Haiya, Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer, said they have come up with the decision as they feel it will help their club. “Nyasa Big Bullets is not going to play in Super League as club licensing rules demand every team playing in the top flight league to have a reserve side and that we want the reserve side to develop players for the main team”, Haiya said.
On the other hand, Mtopwa FC owner and Technical Director Isaac Jomo Osman, was delightful with the decision and said he is ready for life in the Super League. “It’s a dream come true that Mtopwa FC will play in the Super League and as a team we will prepare very well to stand the heat of the league”, Osman said.
Mtopwa FC has been given the chance to play in the TNM Super League after they finished on 2nd position in the 2018 Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region League which was won by Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve.
