The Southern Region Football Association ( SRFA) has come into the open looking for potential sponsors for a cup competition.

Chairperson for the association Raphael Humba said currently the region has only league competition and the coming in of a cup competition will help much in unearthing hidden talent.

” We want to have a regional cup which we want to start from the districts and this cup will be important as it will allow district teams expose their talent hence improving football development in the region as well as in the nation “, Humba said.

The association is optimistic of securing sponsorship for a cup competition after ripping in RAB Processors to sponsor the SRFA league to the tune of K14 million a season for 3 years.
