The Malawi under 23 National football team will leave the country for Belgium on Saturday 16 February 2019  for a two weeks training camp as they prepare for a 2019 AFCON under 23 match against Zambia in March.

The junior Flames are to play training matches with top Belgium clubs before they fly to Egypt for another friendly match again the country’s under 23 side on 8th match.

Under 23 head coach, Meke Mwase is a good platform to prepare his team. “I am thankful to FAM for letting us play friendly matches before facing Zambia and RVG for facilitating the trip which will expose and motivate the players and the trip will help us improve technically as we will play against high level players “, Mwase said.
