A South African Premier Soccer League [PSL] side Baroka FC is assessing a Malawian defender, George Nyirenda despite the close of the transfer window last week.
Nyirenda has started training with Baroka FC in the rainbow nation with his agent Mpho Diokane confirming the player is eyeing to sign a deal at the club. “George is training with Baroka and he is a player who has played in countries like Zimbabwe”, Diokane said.
George Nyirenda has in the past played for CAPS United in Zimbabwe, Tigers FC in Namibia and Bakili Bullets in Malawi and if he clinches a deal with Baroka FC he will be a second Malawian to play for the club having signed Robin Ngalande in 2017.
