Haruna Hareimana replaces the Ugandan coach Jackson Mayanja after being sacked for bad results. Jackson Mayanja fails to get good results both in Vodacom Premier League and CAF competitions.
Hareimana is already working with the squad for the rest of the season competitions including Azam Sports Federation Cup.
“He is the kind of coach without qualifications, that is why we appoint him. Through him, we strongly believe that our team will be better like last season,” says Board Chairman, Major Benjamin Sitta.
Hareimana first match as the head coach of KMC will be against Mtibwa Sugar in Vodacom Premier League fixture.
Hareimana says he wants to work and succeed like other coaches in the world.
“I’m here to work and succeed, I need players to work together so we can get positive results. I’m grateful to work with the management that cares about players and other staff as well.”
Meanwhile, KMC management did terminate contracts of five players due to various reasons.
Aaron Lulambo, George Sangija, Rehani Kibingu, Melly Mongolare and Janvier Bokongu are left out of the squad.
They also sold one player, Vitalis Mayanga to Ndanda Football Club.
