The Malawi under 23 national football team has left Belgium for Egypt where they are expected to play a strength testing match with the country’s under 23 on 8th March 2019 after playing their last game in Europe on Friday.
In the last game for the jnr Flames on Friday against SP Hasslet, the Malawi team scored through Hassan Kajoke and Francisco Nkonda in a game the 2 sides shared the spoils.
Coach for the Junior Flames Meke Mwase said ” we have learnt a lot here in Belgium and that has really shaped our team a head of the Zambia game later this month and am happy the team is able to score goals for now and hope the friendly game in Egypt will help us to fine tune the team”.
In Belgium the Junior Flames played a total of 6 games winning twice , drawing and losing the same number of games.
