The Malawi under 23 national football team has drawn against Patro MM in Belgium as they continue their preparations for the 2020 Olympic qualifier against Zambia this month.
The match which was played on 1st March 2019, saw Patro MM take the lead before Mark Fodya leveled matters for the Junior Flames from the penalty spot.
Assistant coach for the Junior Flames Peter Mponda said everything is going on well as the team prepares for the Zambia match.
” Our coming here in Belgium is to prepare for the competitive match against against Zambia this month and we are learning in each and every game and today’s draw gives us a picture that we are towards building a team able to deliver desired results “, Mponda said.
The draw against Patro MM means the Junior Flames has played 5 games in Belgium winning twice as well as cancel twice and drawing once.
