FLAMES DRAWN AGAINST ESWATINI IN CHAN QUALIFIERS
The Malawi National Football team, The Flames, has been drawn against Eswatini in the first round of the 2020 CAF Total African Nations Championship ( CHAN) qualifiers for the southern zone with the finals to be staged in Ethiopia.
The first round draws sees the Flames playing away to Eswatini formally known as Swaziland on the 19th of April with the return leg on 21st April in Malawi.
However, Angola National Football team will join the qualifiers in the second round as they awaits to play the winner of the 2 tie leg match between Eswatini and Malawi on 10th and 12 May 2019.
CHAN tournament is only for players who play football in their countries local leagues with 16 places up for grabs at next year’s finals for the competing 42 nations.
