Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Coastal Union Head Coach Juma Mgunda blames the 8 to 1 loss against Simba upon his players The loss is currently recorded as biggest defeat of the season.
He was noted saying “We ripe what we saw” soon after the defeat. Coastal Union’s next home fixture is against Mtibwa Sugar this Sunday, 12 May.
“Any coach in the world who stands by his professional must know when the team arrives, what did they ate? for how long they had rest? and if all of those are done and the team still looses, all blames should be upon the coach and his players, ”
“We will play with Mtibwa sugar at home, Mkwakwani stadium this Sunday… I will ruin a lot if I say everything…. players still have to travel a long distance, and we accepted the results and moved on”
Mgunda added that his team plays under challenging environments because they are not financial stable thus demanding more commitment from the players themselves.
Meanwhile the club chairman who is also in the Tanzania Premier league cabinet, Mr. Steve Mguto also chimed in saying their team arrived a few hours late in Dar Es Salaam from Tanga toward the game with Simba SC.
