The former overthrown president of South Sudan Omar al-Bashir, was recently arrested for accusations that argued that the president was involved in the killings of a doctor who attended to victims of the demonstrators.
The killings of the doctor is also what drove the nation into overthrowing him after a 30 year reign.
Although Bashir is in custody under high security, his judgement has not yet been made. He is said to have incited and killed several demonstrators which led to his arrest.
That former leader who is a Military soldier, is charged of embezzlement of public funds alongside financing terrorist sects.
According to BBC, some Sudanese say that they can’t believe his accusations until they see him in court.
In December last year 2018, the citizens demonstrated against the government’s decision to triple bread price in the country.
