RNB and Bongo flava music star, Khery Sameer Rajab (Mr. Blue) has announced the official launch of his new music studio, Micharazo Studio exclusively for Rap artists.
In an interview, the artist stated that his reason for opening the studio and making it exclusively for Rap artists is because many music labels here in Tanzania do not foster rap artists, but rather put more time and effort to RNB and pop music singers.
Providing examples such as Kings Music and the famous WCB, he said that there is a clear bias nature of the kind of music that is given support in the country.
“Its not about me anymore. I want to give back to my community… Rap is not a tough art, artists need a boost to reach where they want to reach…. Rap helped me and other successful rappers here in Tanzania, I intend to give that help back”
He further explained how he intendeds to change the negative mindset of the society of how Rap music isn’t easy to connect with people and simply does not pay.
At the end of the interview, the artist welcomed everyone who had the heart and talent for Rap music to slide into his DM on Instagram as he has his hands wide open and ready to assist.
